I know one of my colleague who got the passport back after 3 months. It's upto them. I sent my passport to them immediately and they took the time. But now a days, I don't think it will take more than 3 weeks.

I had all my money in TFSA. I didn't have any problem. TFSA funds are available anytime just like current account (Although you would have to make a withdraw request in person and banks take 1 or 2 days to process the request). But I would suggest to transfer everything into current account...

Congrats!!!! I have a few lab mates who are done within 2 months of medical request. Now a days, CPP-O works very fast once they are on a file. Good luck to everyone else too.

One of my colleague had a similar situation. He asked a CIC agent the reason. The agent said, there my be a charge filed against a person after he left the country. That's why they need the updated PCC just to make sure that no charge was filed after they left the country. IMO, it's not...
