Hi Waz, you're right about the serious criminality, but an Application for Rehabilitation has been approved prior to filing the ARC, and therefore the inadmissibility for serious criminality are no longer an issue, so hoping to get a positive reply for the ARC soon.

I filed an ARC with the Canadian Consulate General in New York in October 2010 and I'm still waiting for a response. As it's been more than 1 year I recently ordered CAIPS and FOSS notes. Anyone know how long it will take to receive notes? Thanks.

Hi there, I thought I would share my experience about the Application for Rehabilitation process. I filed the Application with the Canadian Consulate General in New York in January 2009 and received Letter of Approval in May 2010. So yes it's a long process. Wishing you the best of luck!
