Just out of curiosity how is your plan working out?

Hey I am in a similar situation. I have a girlfriend in mexico who i want to visit me here for 2-4 weeks in the spring. How did this work out? As far as I understand it you need to prove she a) has money for visit b) will return home c) isn't a refugee/sick or whatever. I'm kind of paranoid...
