update: got a letter stating we gotta submit an FBI records check because x amount of time was spent living in the States. So I guess this is gonna definitely result in a delay. :(

hey guys, sponsorship was approved back in october. It now says that processing of the application began on January 12, 2012. Medicals received. How significant is this message? normally, how long after would we receive some kinda communication from them? Thanks a million.

if you don't mind me asking, what kinda questions did they ask and how long was the interview? just trying to get an idea of what to expect should an interview be required.

Oh I had that link, I thought I was missing something. Sponsorship was approved Oct. 6, 2011. the status is "application received." Once I clicked that link, I saw "We received XXX's application for permanent residence on July 22, 2011. Medical results have been received." Does that mean...

when you guys say "date filed" are you referring to the when the application was sent out or when CIC Mississauga opened the package?
