I had the same problem. It turned out they had (and still have despite an email informing them of their mistake) entered my name on to their system incorrectly. It may be a long shot, but double check your name on the letter they sent you.

yes, they have been announced. you applied before feb 2007, so it doesn't affect you.

IE doesn't work either. perhaps they aren't actually processing my application yet. I think I remember reading that it won't be active unless it is being processed.
