A decision has been made on our file, and we have already sent our passports to CPP-O yesterday, paid RPRF as well but my spousal open work permit is expiring on Oct 17. Should I still apply for SOWP extension?

Hi everyone! We are waiting for PPR too. Our e-medical results were sent last Sept. 5. ECAS still in Application Received though.

I don't think it would cause issues as long as the photos were not edited in anyway. What's your ECAS status? Is it still 'Application Received', 'In Process' or 'Decision Made'?

The visa office they indicated could be wrong. The case processing center in NS (CPC-Sydney) processes PR card and citizenship applications. CPP-O processes PR applications from US and Canada after being pre-screened by CIO.

sis, that refers to the pilot projects for open work permits (working-aged dependents (18-22) of skilled workers and spouses of long-haul truck drivers - and these are for Alberta only), not specifically to spousal open work permit. I checked both CIC and CEM websites and wala naman akong nabasa...
