Lyrical, I agree with Angtao. Call tomorrow. I was approved on the 4th (I found thi out when I called) but e-Cas didnt update until the 6th so there is a lag time. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! :D

If you include it your file gets processed faster for sure but if you didn't it shouldn't slow down AIP. Don't panic too much I didn't include my FBI stuff. I sent it later and it worked out ok for me.

OK..... I called CIC today and the guy confirmed that I have gotten AIP (on march 4th) and they have issued a OWP (i sent the application for it in with my PR app) on the same day!!!! I hope Canada Post is swift and sure on this one. SOOOOoo, today is my wife's birthday!!! What a great bday...

I have been patiently waiting and reading the boards. My wife and I are on pins and needles now hoping that AIP/OWP will be in the mail any day now! Fingers crossed!! Come on CIC!!

I called CIC today after e-Cas wasn't working. Nice guy answered, said everything looked like it was on track and that it appeared that they everything was progressing normally. I asked about time frames and he said if he was a betting man he would say I am looking at March for first stage...

LOL you know what....I was looking at this post..and read the app date in the side profile which says 07-01-2011. Of course being American that means July 1st to me. BUTTTTTT it means January in this date format sooooooo There ya have it..... Maybe tomorrows jump will be huge!

Congrats Junglist82!!!!!!! OK so that's a 4th July approval. And the CIC Call Centre says they haven't even opened the sponsorship application portion of our package. They don't even have my wife in the system. But they have approved 4 ppl for AIP who applied 4 months after me? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think a couple of things..... 1. I think its ok to question the system and to politely ask a questions as to why..... Although that may be the American in me. 2. I think its ok to express appropriate frustration here because we understand and support one another through a situation only...
