Hi. Yes this is a common-law partner application. I did the medical before I sent the application (as close as possible because it's only valid a year).

Thank you! Funny you should say that, someone else in another thread just said the same thing. That they don't typically refuse inland apps without an interview to give you the chance to clarify any issues/questions.

tozo, thanks a lot - that makes a great deal of sense. It wouldn't make sense to refuse inland applications without giving an opportunity to clarify any questions/issues, if there is no right to appeal.
