I forgot to update that I received and sent our FBI clearance documents on May 23rd. I think that should be everything. Sounds like others have been waiting for awhile for a final decision.

Update: medical done and RPRF requested April 23rd.

Update: MR received! FBI clearance application sent. Do we have to do RCMP too or does FBI cover Canada? We've been in Canada for almost two years. Thanks!

BOWP submitted March 17, approved April 2nd. Do they just mail it to us now? Does this replace our current work permit?

Congrats to the Sept MR people! As a US citizen, what are the steps after MR? I've seen some mention of finger prints but we did that for our WP. Seems to easy for MR to be all we need.

Haven't yet but don't we have to at the end of the process to get PR?

My wife and I got our temporary work permits and will be going across the Peace bridge tomorrow. My wife is going to go ahead with the car and I'll be taking a pickup and small trailer with our stuff. Am I considered a passenger vehicle or a commercial vehicle when choosing my lane? Thanks!

We are both US citizens so we see that we can apply at the port. However, there's a chance my wife will need a medical exam since she'll be a speech pathologist for kids. Is there a way to get the medical exam ahead of time?
