Yes, it was conjugal application and it was refused so I had to appeal, case was sent back to Vienna in June 2012, right now just waiting for the final decision, hopefully it will be soon as I don't have any patience left
I don't think Vienna is doing anything at all, my MP said they have everything to process file as of Jan 3rd, but still no word from them...ecas still showing application received only
We first applied in Sept 2010 as conjugal partners, it was also before I found this forum so we had no idea how hard is to be approved under that category. After winning appeal in May of this year they sent our application back to Vienna and still waiting.
My husband lost his old military book...
They never asked for anything and it was because they had his email address wrong, we emailed them about it few weeks ago and just last week they asked for his military book...we've been waiting for so long, hopefully he'll be here soon
If at least you know what to expect now, my file was transfered to Vienna after I won appeal in May but we never heard from Vienna, I was able to get BFD of Sep27 by my MP but nothing from Vienna yet
Nice....you can't go live with your spouse nor can your spouse come live with you in Canada until process is done it doesn't matter that it could take 9,12, 24 or more months, maybe visa officers or anyone who supports such a non sense should try to live without their loved ones and then will talk
If you apply for visitor's visa do not lye, tell them you wanna come to Canada to marry your partner and they will refuse you for sure
and they cannot hold that against you
You will win your appeal for sure, it's much harder to win ADR
I won my ADR but I was able to prove I had legal impendiment at the time, they try to rip you apart anyways
This is what I do not understand
If you check Sponsorship appeals Immigration and Refugee protection act, chapter 5, page 20...
No they do not have access to our files, I called them once out of desparation when I didn't know what happened to my file after I won appeal (btw I still don't)
I have same problem, I tried calling CIC but no info, I was told it's sent back to either visa office or Ottawa but no way to find out until they contact you
Anyone can do it, regardless if you are from Bosnia or other countries processed by Vienna
Sending it through IOM was suppose to make it easier for you, I guess it didn't in your case
