Another quick question, when sending the request via email, do you put any text in the body of the email? I'm asking b/c in the Access to information form, it says, do not accompany it with a letter (which to me can also mean written text via email), and only provide the forms.

I filed for visa after I applied and after I went back for rukhsati. Submitted everything that was required by the embassy (specifics are mentioned on CHC website for pakistan- look under visiting Canada). I also attached a solumn declaration, mentioning full responsibility of her finances here...

Applied: March 2010 AoR: May 2010 re-PCC request and sent: May 2011 Re-med and sent: June 3 2011 PPR: waiting....

thanks saggit and wes...i'm getting concerned about this delay in processing. However, my wife is currently with me in Canada ( on a visit visa), so the pain is markedly less... do you think they're delaying the process knowing this (they're not treating this as urgent?)

what is the website link to order CAIPs notes?...i understand the link's been posted on this forum a few times..could someone please post it again? Also what is the fastest way to apply, and how long does it take to get a reply? Thanks for the help.

Just some tip for everyone waiting for PPR...I contacted my MP's office and they're saying that medical results are being processed in London,UK, which takes from 6-8 weeks...so don't fret, two months' wait is not out of the ordinary...

Just a quick shout out to everyone....those waiting for PPR, has anyone contacted CHC-islamabad to inquire about update since re-med and when should they be expecting PPR? I did a few times, but they don't respond on that. My MP's office has also tried to get an update from them, and even they...
