emr, what date did you receive the passports? When was the date Fort Erie post office received it. (was it Canadapost or other courier, considering you are in US)

Congrats emr. Glad you are getting yours.. So it took more than a month from the resubmission of checks. That puts me at Sep 10 or beyond, I guess.

I haven't seen anywhere that there is such a difference in processing times. However it might be logical to think that there is some minor difference considering the different set of paperwork they would have to review.

I had sent in my passport for TRV renewal two weeks back. I sent me latest passport and copy of relevant pages of my old passport. I havn't received anything back yet, so I wouldn't call it a successful approach yet ! I am expecting it back in 2 weeks.
