Yes that is correct they (parents) have been staying with them via visitor visa for 6 months, after which they go back during winter time and then come back ince spring starts.

Mates, I'm aware of the normal processing times via the CIC site. Apologies for not being clear enough :) What I'm looking for is that; an estimated time line of few of the forum members who filed their CEC application and how long it took them from start to finish. Cheers! Colin

I think her situation is a bit different, since most of the physicians are self employed ( unless they are working in a hospital ). She got her work permit initially based on this contractual arrangement. So in her case she is billing to Ontario Govt and gets her payment on a monthly basis.
