I submitted my BOWP on July 19 (paper app) and just got my permit in the mail today! It says it was approved Sept 5. No email though.

Well I finally got my BOWP

My IEC visa expires on the 14th of Aug too! Applied for BOWP 19th of July so hoping to hear something good soon. Otherwise I'll be kicked out!

LOL anytime ;) I was having a super crap day and this was the cherry on top. After I had finished swearing my head off I typed that and sent it without thinking. Oh well!

I replied back saying "It's only 4.75MB!!!" Oops. I'll probably get kicked out now. I found an online compressor and got it to 0.84MB and resent ;)

I sent them my 2012 NOA all in one file and at 4.75MB and they emailed back saying it was too big and to keep the file size under 5MB ???

No they just wanted medicals for her 'just in case' so I don't know the best way to remove them from an application. I'd just email them. Seniors may know better. You probably will need some sort of statement from your kids though. Maybe.
