Hello everyone, Once the passport is delivered to CPC Ottawa for Visa stamping, do they notify you that they have received our passport? Can we contact IRCC to ask if they have received our passport?

I went to Service Canada to ask about the same issue. They said I can study/work with the expired SIN until I receive my physical copy of the study/work permit.
