    You cant do fingerprint without them giving you letter stating she should go for another biometrics, there is a problem with your application, you need to reach out to IRCC to amend that.

    Application number do change, but if you are applying using her previous study permit application, which she did her boimetrics, which in that case is valid, then they should update your file within days, did you actually stated it or answered that she has had her fingerprint before?
