    Thank you so much! But are all self-employment considered the same? It's very common in trucking and driving industry to be employed as a subcontractor! But being an independent consultant can be much more dubious. I'm sure IRCC knows about this!

    Thank you for clarifying. Your answer makes me less anxious. Funny thing is that I work more than guys who get a paycheck. I get regular payments too but the only difference is that as a subcontractor driver, I pay my own taxes.

    Sure, but what I am saying is that I didn't leave Canada even for one day, neither do I plan to leave it during my eligibility period. What I am most scared about is getting RQ'ed because I was not employed for a couple of months when I first landed here, and then I started doing subcontracting...

I have all the proof that like car insurance, bank statements, T4As, etc. Perhaps I can attach it with an LOE? I thought it's a common practice in Canada.
