This. The writ usually has more substance if you’ve been under security check for over 18 months. Then you can submit a writ petition and more often than not people get their security check completed. Source: spoke to a lawyer

Ah, they have updated the processing times. It was only 13 months when i checked a few weeks ago

On my GCMS notes it went from "In progress by CBSA" to "received by CBSA". Not sure what it means tho

true, sometimes gcms notes do trigger a tracker update but I've had plenty of notes from ircc that did not generate any tracker response

I don't think the tracker gets updated based on ATIP file requests. An officer has most likely been working on your file recently. Did you receive your notes?

Yes, the tracker got updated on Friday. I've been getting regular monthly updates since Sep but zero changes on the file. Annoying!
