I submitted a TRV application on the new portal for my wife and me, un knowing that our biometric will expire next year. is there a way for us to pay for new biometric and get a biometric letter without cancelling the application submitted

I and my wife just applied for TRV visa on the new portal and we answer that we do not need biometric unknowing to us that our biometric will expire next year. please what can do, is there a way i can request to go for and pay for a new biometric before my application is approved
