    I did it by myself and I also got email from Thunder Bay community that I need to apply for closed work permit with LMIA exemption. Also, they had mentioned some of the steps how to apply and after that I followed the RNIP website instructions. At the end we both have work permits :)

    They process all this steps fast and then we have to wait for the couple of months for P1 Portal request...... RIght now they are processing December 2023 files as per the last few posts, so it looks like 9-11 month wait time after submitting the application. :(

    I dont think so they accept the AOR with webform, because IMM5710e needs to be corrected, and some options also needs to be changed when you initiate process.

    You have to make another application when you receive AOR, I did the same thing. you don't need to upload or withdraw the application just make new application as per the RNIP portal describes. The officer will withdraw the application when he will be processing your file and will get new work...

    The separate email which you received is AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt), it's just an email stating your UCI and Application number.

    I was in same boat during June. Contact Ircc and tell them your scenario, they will guide you. Most probably they will ask you to apply for work permit extension with letter of explanation if you haven't got your AOR
