We submitted the file online. We were told the standard processing time of 12 to 18 months. They just have to do better. We don't mind paying extra so they can shorten the processing times. Our time is far more precious than paying extra money.

Since March last year. I was asked for additional fees about a month ago so that was a little exciting as it felt they were working on it. However, others that were asked for additional fees, received a decision in 2 weeks or less. Fingers crossed.

Just want to confirm, Did your lawyer contact the London office and got this information or was it a canadian office? Also, aren't rehab applications only done in canada?

We ha We had a feeling as such and I do hope that is the case. There needs to be a way to track it as leaving people in a limbo is psychological torture. I am even ok with the government charging more money for such applications just so they can have a shorter decision time and status updates...

It's been 14 months for me and its such a helpless feeling to not know whats going on as it doesnt just impact my life, but its impacting my wife and my immediate family as well. Hope and pray you get a positive response soon.

I was told that the notes provide remarks on your visa/sponsorship application only. I will be applying for the GCMS notes and hope I get some indication on my CR application. Thank you for the quick reply.
