Is that an issue?In my field my employer applies for LMIA all the time, as it’s a labour intense jobs and hard to find workers. So They were able to provide me with a new LMIA they had ,a month after my permit expired, and also job letter telling my to apply for a new work permit .

What other verification processes did they say are there for you to do after criminal check? I thought they were listed on your IRCC application checklist. Wasn’t background check the final item on check?

Wow, disgrace, I think it is a tactic to discourage applicants. Surely it can’t be that hard . What is a local Mp? And how was it able to get you in contact with the IRCC?

They did provided me with a new LMIA and job letter to apply for the work permit. And seem convinced that I’ll be fine, but I’m hesitant to go ,everything I read online says out of status is not safe .

When you say restored in September, when did they apply for restoration? And what type of permit was it? Because if they applied in September and got a letter in November that’s great!! That’s maybe hope for tons of people ..was it a work permit? please update us friend !

Wow 4 months is very long , I think you are able to receive some type of support as a student tho. Mine is work permit. Keep us updated
