Hey everyone, i applied on july 6 and didn’t receive result yet. Anyone else with the same timeline, who have heard back from ircc? And also if it is taking this long, does that mean there might be something wrong or it’s just normal?

Yes, you can get TRV stamped in india too. But still it would be necessary to have your work permit with you while travelling alongside TRV stamp. So, maybe apply for a TRV now, it will get approved after your PGWP is approved.

Try raising a webform if you’ve not done that yet. Even I had applied in july and no response yet. Some people who applied after me already got the approval. I think i just depends on the officer who will review the application. Some take more time than others. So let’s hope for best.

Your travel to India won’t affect your status, but the entry. If you have a valid TRV stamp, you’re good to travel.

But many people are part time in some semesters due to certain reasons and still receive their pgwp. Even my university consultant said that i am not the only one who is in such situation, but with proper explanation officer knows the situation, and approves the application, I was just asking...
