got a ghost update today. Not sure if I should yet be happy or not. Should I expect an actual update anytime soon?

Mine is scarborugh. I got GCMS notes from CBSA today. My security is progress and the security clearance is CIT CSIS ( not sure what that is). But its in progress since Feb 2024.

anyone who's still waiting for bg and lpp saw any updates. My last update was march 27 (fingerprints received) nothing after that. As per IRCC its under security. Does anyone know how can this be expedited

nothing for me. Been stuck on bg and lpp since march 24. Reached out to my mp, but was no use. IRCC says there is no processing time for security clearance and the application processing doesn't apply to me.. :(

I am still stuck at background and lpp. Called ircc and was told security clearance is pending and there is no processing time for that and the official processing time do not apply to security clearance

I actually checked with support and they said my secondary office is sydney. Also I have heard that application goes to sydney for security clearance. Possibly they are the ones delaying the file. I read on cbc website that 60000 applications were assigned to inactive employees. This could also...

Did you reach your MP. If not look up on google who is the MP from your area and try reaching them. They should be able to get things running on your file

Not sure what’s happening. A friend who applied in april has everything completed and I have yet to get my bg completed let alone language, physical presence and prohibitions. Close to 3 months since last update. Any december applicant on the same boat
