    My child is a Canadian born outsde Canada. Am a Canadian working and filing my taxes each year. My child is fourteen years old and she just arrive in Canada a week ago. Please do I qualify some kind of retroactive payment? Thank you.

    Canada Child Benefits for Child Abroad

    So if the child come to Canada, that means the benefit will cover from the time the child was born. Retroactively for 11 years assuming the child is 14 years old now. Right?
