My god 39 months for PR applications within Québec what a sh**show! My guess is that this delay won't juat stop at PR applications. It will also extend to citizenship and family reunification applications.

Personally, I am trying to move away to another province. This will take time, money and effort and cause many headaches but I feel this will be the best option in the long term.

Thanks. The sad thing is, evey time I contact IRCC, I get told that everything looks fine and that I should wait even though it's clear something isn't right.

Processing time was yet again extended. It is 29 months now. It feels like I'll never be able to catch up with it so I could contact the IRCC and ask about my application without getting told to wait for the processing deadline to pass first.

If it's true then why would Quebec accept them, give them CSQs, tax them, etc. in the first place if they are going to throttle and delay their PRs for long periods of time afterwards?! Aren't these protected persons already counted as part of the province's population at this point? I can't...
