Hello PMM, Appreciate your answer! The offer letter from the school says clearly that I will be fully funded by the school throughout the four years of my study (tuition plus living expense). With this fact, do you think they will give me a valid study permit to the expiry of my passport? Thanks!

I am going to Canada for a four-year Ph.D program starting fall this year. I heard that usually upon arrival, the immigration officer will issue you a study permit which has the same length as the program length. In other words, the study permit should be valid for four years in my case...
