If they confirmed already then no reason to expect it to be there. Why would you need it in the marriage certificate anyway? Passport has nationality and citizenship status and documents you need to submit with the application related to the sponsor's side of thing will clear that out.
I don't believe nationality/citizenship is mentioned in marriage certificate. It generally has the names, ages and civil status (sometimes the addresses) at the time of marriage.
Took only two days but all updates on tracker only. Portal background check and final decision still stays in progress/processing. I assume portal gets updated once the PPR is sent.
Hmm, seems like there is a temporary policy which I didn't know about. Assuming "Your previous IME indicated a low risk or no risk to public health or public safety", looks like that can be used. Best to contact them and see unless someone else here can confirm.
However most of those temporary...
Hard to say. If anything I assume it will delay by a day or so. Can you at least see your current PR application there? If you can see it then i'm pretty sure there won't be any issues.
Are you sure you didn't create it when submitting the application? My rep created the application and then i got an email from IRCC to create the PR Portal account to view and sign it before submission.
What about her passport? If you are submitting the NIC then you will have to submit the translated one (get it translated from Department for Registration of Persons).
As far as I know, you just have to provide as many evidence as possible. That includes:
Marriage certificate
Join bank account details
Photos you've taken together, and with family members or friends (from first to last - timeline format)
Gifts or money you sent to each-other (online/offline...
Yeah, after sponsor approved in last October I knew I was able to apply for TRV, but didn't since I don't want to leave until May this year anyway. If Eligibility and Background Verification completes soon I can plan to move within May as expected. Otherwise will have to apply for TRV in April.
Thanks for sharing. This actually matches what I've seen from others. Usually Eligibility completes after a month from medical completion, then pre-arrival comes a day or two after. You were lucky with early background verification completion as it can take 2-3months longer for some ppl.
I'm...
Did you get PPR yet? I applied early June 2023, got the medical request on 27th December and passed on 14th January. No update after that.
Colombo VO is very slow.
First of all you're in the wrong thread as this is mainly for June 2023 applications. Secondly no one can tell you when you can expect PPR as it is case by case basis. Some of our June applications still having Eligibility & Background In Progress while your 4 months later submission got...
^ exactly this ... I think it's mostly due to information availability on all south asian and other similar countries where things are not properly organized.
As far as i know, Sponsor is the one that should submit the NOA and mainly need to show that sponsor is not taking financial assistance from government or any 3rd party. $50k annual income should be more than enough to sponsor.
