Final good news! Oath ceremony set for 4th July!

I am not clear on the offices that one's application is assigned to. Fingerprints went to Vancouver, Northern Territories asked for Passport and Winnipeg asked for Provincial ID card. So which one did my processing?

Unfortunately the LPP only came through today - nearly 6 weeks after the passport request which I had submitted on 30 April. So one can only wait.....

No, my passport request was only ever sent by direct email to me and never acknowledged as a tracker update / item. Mine was 30 April and never received any specific response - just that they had received my doc - normal system response

Good news. PP (do not require a L check) was completed today - 19 June. Received Oath letter download yesterday - 18 June. No Oath ceremony date yet.

Sure, all the relevant requested docs were supplied at the beginning. This is the strangest logic.

I applied beginning of Jan 2024 and after having to do fingerprints end Feb, then scan of total passport end Apr, today was requested for a copy of my valid provincial ID. It is now 5 months and counting .....

Same timing more or less. Not heard anything since 11 April (BG completed 8 Apr) after submitting passport same day as requested on 30 April. Just waiting. Predicted completion after receiving ALL required docs is 3 months, according to IRCC website - fyi.

Received a letter today requesting full scan of my passport.

Some movement on my side: Fingerprints received: 7 Apr Background completed: 8 Apr Happiness!

Unfortunately I am too. I have the same info on my tracker. I double checked with the RCMP regarding my fingerprint submission (I have a tracking no of the submission) and was told to be patient, as the RCMP is 55 working days behind in their processing of fingerprints schedule. If we are lucky...

Lovely, thanks. Not everybody has to supply fingerprints - you might be lucky. Some people in my time line already have their oath ceremonies booked for 11 April after applying in Jan! Fingers

Truth be told I thought it would have been quicker than how it is happening. I received the AOR in 3 weeks after applying and then a month later a request for fingerprints. And they have now still not acknowledged receipt of my fingerprints - it has been more than a month later - just waiting...

My fingerprint request dated 28 Feb has also remained 'waiting for your response' since then on the tracker - I had submitted ink rolled on 5 March (we do not have electronic available where we live) and then my unease about the distinct request for electronic made me travel 6 hours one way to...

Just an update re fingerprints - must be electronic. Ink not acceptable and just an unnecessary delay ...
