I think it only appears when they start looking at your case, which takes around 3/4 months.

So no one here received their biometrics letter yet so they can get the biometrics taken? In my case some system error made it so I was only able to pay the biometrics fee last Sunday, so I'm wondering now how long it will take to get the letter.

I just got an email from IRCC saying they have added my new document (the biometrics receipt) to the file and they also said if I had any questions about the process to fill out another webform. I'm wondering if I should fill that out and ask them when I will be getting my biometrics letter to...
