I'm not doubting you paid everything. But the permanent residence right fee (RPRF) is specifically to pay for the permanent residency. What does the wording saying? When we got her letter it says to pay the fee if we hadn't already paid the fee. it was generic and not specific to our case...

Quick update. So we made it to Canada and the processing of her Permanent Residency took all of 10 minutes. Getting everything we are bringing across verified was a whole other matter. But She's now officially a Canadian resident

Pre arriv pre-arrival came in March/April 2023 and completed April 2024. Initial application was december 2022

The timeline is varied. We got approval after 16 months. SOme haven't gotten approval going on 2 years and others got in 10 months. They won't tell us what is the deciding factor that differentiates the wait times for Quebec

We just received the passport request letter. Though my wife is a citizen of a visa not required country, all we have to send in is pictures, a scan of her passport and a familial update within 30 days to receive the COPR.

The status tracker just updated with a COPR expiration date and a document number for my wife. How will she receive this document and when? Timeline Applied December 9th 2022, Outland, Quebec Everything completed/approved in 2023. Background completed March 22nd, 2024 COPR update April 2nd, 2024

So all 4 steps on the application status tracker for my wife have been marked as completed including the background as of 3/22. How long until we hear back for the next step?
