My wife received her TRV and will be flying soon. Our Spousal Sponsorship application is in process. Do we still need to buy the return ticket?

Did anyone receive any TRV in the recent days for your spouse after the Spousal PR sponsorship application was submitted? Can you please share the timeline? We still haven't received anything after we applied for the TRV on Oct 13, 2023. Just worried now....

It is 60 calendar days. However, it varies from case to case. Did you apply on your own? Also, please note, sometimes the AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt) comes along with the Biometrics request like in my case. If you have received the Application # and the UCI #, then you're okay.....

My wife's birthday is on Dec 08. We expressed interest to celebrate her birthday together. But mentioned she would go back to complete the sponsorship application and wait for the decision in India

Eligibility completed on Oct 27, 2023: Background check: In Progress It's not moving ahead. We have already passed the 28 days standard processing time, however not received the TRV yet. Any idea if the application delayed what could be the reason?

I received just one email and letter from IRCC requesting for the Biometrics. If the letter already has Application # and the UCI, that letter is the AOR itself.

Have you also applied for TRV? Are you going to? Has your agent told you the actual processing time for TRV's from India? Not the one shown on the IRCC website....
