Not exactly, for instance some EU police certificates are ONLY valid for 3 months from the issue date. I, also, requested FBI criminal record with fingerprints which is now almost a year old... Hope it'll be sufficient as I left the US over 4 years ago and never went back...

Traveler74, Just to clarify, your AOR letter should have a red date stamp, that's the date when you application was filed. Just see whether the date is earlier or past the 27th of Feb. Good luck

I actually read that some older applications may be affected by the new immigration act, i.e. even if you applied a year ago, - there's still a chance that your application would either be expedited or put off till later on... I guess it's a "Russian Roulette".
