I only got one email the day i submitted my application, it was a regular one that passport is with agent and application is accepted. Other than that no email. But you should be getting an update anytime soon. Keep checking!

Yes you are right, they are all talk and no actions. If we compare the volume of applications at Toronto and Vancouver (long lineups), they are doing great. whereas Ottawa never saw such huge lineups (at least as far as I know) and are proudly rocking a big backlog.

I reached BLS at 7:30, there were some 25 people ahead of me. Got out by 11:30

Ottawa BLS walkin for SC: 28th September Printed: 29th October Delivered: 6th November Going to apply for Entry visa tomorrow. I have to travel on 14th December for my brother's wedding. Hopefully I should get it before that. @TIRATH67 got it in a week I guess so that gives me some hope.
