    I just checked their website, and it says obtaining an E-visa or ETA might be possible on refugee travel documents. I hovered across the application, and there is an option for refugee travel documents. Putting Stateless (refugee )as a nationality, soan E-visa might be a viable and cheaper...

    I also don't have my PR yet and have a valid US visa on my expired RTD, but that doesn't matter; you can transit in Tokyo Narita airport if you don't leave the airport, and it is in the same terminal. The transit also has to be shorter than 12 hours and cannot be at night as the airport closes...

    I recently flew to Thailand, transited in Tokyo Narita, and Seoul Incheon on the way back. no issues as long as you don't leave the airport. Be careful when filling the thai e-visa application. One small error and they cancel your application and you will have to reapply

    I am not 100% sure, but I helped one of my cousins apply, and he sent his passport to Ottawa in the mail alongside a signed check and an additional prepaid mailing envelope with his address on the back. Overall, it took some time and money to get the visa but he got it in the end.

    I applied for a refugee travel document on October 16th. I just called IRCC to check, and it has still not been reflected in the system. The people working there at the IRCC are very reckless.

    Applied on 30 April 2023, received Pre-Arrival on July 30th 204, and Eligibility on August 2nd, 2024. You guys should hear from the IRCC soon.

    So from the day you received your Notice of Decision (NOD) to the day you received your Copy of Permanent Residence (CoPR) the days in between are counted as 1/2 and after the day you receive CoPR, it is 1 day.
