I have already talked to my local MP, and they said they can only track what is ongoing but not speed up the progress. They do continue giving me update (twice already), while it is just nothing new happened yet... Though I do get the additional flag removed, which is a good sign to move forward...

My MP told me: "Your application has been flagged for further review. Unfortunately, we do not have specific details regarding which aspect of your application necessitates this additional scrutiny" So sad...

I was having a similar issue when I entered YVR, and it seems like having not relation with citizen application. It is due to the new card has been issued but you have not yet received it. So congrats on your new PR card and that's just it!
