No you can't. The specifics are different and you need 2 new ones for passport compared to the 2 for the application. Also depending on the length of your application the photos also won't be valid any more since they need to have been taken in the last 6 months for the passport application...

Had the same date as Brobot (and probably the same ceremony), and can't yet either. Although they really did push hard on the 5 business days in the ceremony so I think they set themselves up to get them in not earlier than Wednesday.

They send that email to (nearly) everyone no matter what you pick in the application. They still ask you in the ceremony and you can indicate you want paper. just be aware paper cert takes around 2-4 weeks to arrive, e-certificate takes 2-5 business days.

It does contain a unique invite code etc, but it's not needed to attend the ceremony. They usually ask you anyways if you want e-certificate or paper and if you say e-certificate they ask you if you've received the email and if not they can send you.

Was your oath with the Judge from Winnipeg? and JK as clerk?

Even after the interview it's not a given that you are getting an oath date quickly (or especially immediately), so I wouldn't fully bet on it.

I didn't get the e-cert instructions but to be fair I opted for the paper certificate when applying

There were some on reddit too, yeah I got the full invite.

Well people have been getting administrative error invites again the past week that were cancelled the day before, so I won't get my hopes up too much until it is done.

Got the e-mail Notice to appear today, so for now I just hope that it won't be cancelled last minute.

It took my test around 8 days to validate, the norm for the Van office seems to be somewhere between one and two weeks currently to validate tests

I had my test come from the West office (I guess that's Van?) and got LPP completed on Oct 30th

Not a german citizen but an Austrian Citizen and we also aren't allowed to keep the Austrian one when taking on another citizenship. Of course everyone defines it differently but for me a document is not my identity, if you plan to spend your life here becoming a canadian citizen is the thing...
