This could be a silly question.. but I heard from couple of people that the day you are taking oath ceremony the employer provides a legal time off for that day.. is that true ?

does ecas gets updated if the test invite is sent ? or it just remains as in process ?

no please don't do that ! I did that and my application was rejected.. I sent mine last year july and then got rejected in October... now I have re applied and it is under processing

is any one noticing that there is now delay in changing the status from in process to test invite ? or is it my perception.. based on stats from Jan 19, I was hoping we would get the test invite closer to a month after it is in " in process" thoughts ?

i applied for citizenship last year July but they rejected saying not enough documents .. I reapplied and sent around feb 8, received confirmation on April 1st. I have a trip around aug 2nd until 23rd. My passport is valid until September .. and I need to apply for Australia visa as well...

yes Sameera i did and it says 28th of September 2015 will be the eligibility. And iam checking with physical presence what would be the eligibility. As before we got our PR we went for about 2 and a half months outside canada for vacation ... shouldnt have gone :(

Hi all, my husband came to canada as full time student in August 2010. we got our PR in september 2013. and we travelled for one month outside the country after we got our PR ? when are we eligible to apply for citizenship ?? will the new rule come into place thank you for all your advices
