    I noticed mine the day it started after Background check was on-going for days. Also on the status tracker page you will see the date updated at the top right corner of the screen/ page once any update is made.

    Here is my timeline: Non SDS from Nigeria Application submitted: 18th July Biometrics: 19th July Background Check Started: 20th July Eligibility started: 10th Aug. Final Decision: Aug 15 (refused)

    I think it will be best that you contact the Canadian High Commission in your country or via email or phone call to lay your complaint. Don't take chances.

    I think you should wait till end of August or First week of September before you defer your admission. I feel you can still make use of the visa for winter semester or spring even if you get a late approval.
