Why is it taking so long for us? It is so frustrating and stressful to the point it is making me feel sick

My question was not on the cost but on what surveillance consists off. As in what to expect after the call from the doc

No. He never had TB in his life! Even his tests came back negative

We are already in Canada though. And applied for PR from inside

It's so weird because from the research that i did we most probably will go to the same clinic we went before for the sputum test. Repeating things, losing time and getting stressed for nothing

But on my online application it says medicals passed. So why should he have treatment if he has no TB of any sort?

What treatment though? My husband has no active/inactive TB. Do they do the same sputum and xray test or what? This is so confusing ahahah

Ok so we still need to wait then. Because people say that we can still get approved for PR even before finishing with surveillance, but apparently it seems to not be the case

So january we got the furtherance letter - husband did sputum test and waited for like 7 weeks until we got the negative results. Then in march he redid his xray exam and once sent to immigration, medicals were marked as passed on the system. One day later we receive this email saying my husband...

We already did the x-ray after 3 months and sputum test and we got the answer that everything is fine and the docs discharged my husband. Now medicals say passed on the system but he still recieved medical surveillance. Does it mean we will have to wait again for 3 months
