I was searching online and it says that the background check is always done for PR no matter what. I guess it says not applicable cuz maybe the officer hasn't opened yet the fingerprints email from service canada. Once they do they send the prints for checks and it changes to "we are doing the...

Hey, question for you. What do you mean by background checks not applicable for QSW? I remember when i gave my fingerprints it said that they were processing the background check but not after the Prearrival letter it says not applicable

Thank you! I'm supposed to receive my CSQ by mail shortly. The only message/doc i got online was the acceptance stating that the csq doc will be sent by mail

Hey great news! Just wanted to let you know that i did receive my CSQ after exactly 5 months and 4 days with the old rules (i had explained it from the very beginning)! So do not worry everything should be fine!

Most of the time it is the opposite from what I've seen. The more people wait it is kinda guaranteed an avis de verification unfortunately i just really hope we don't pass the 6 months mark cuz otherwise not a good sign
