    The agent who answered just asked me to check ircc portal for checking the eligibility....I waited for 1 hour to talk and disappointed by this response..

    I am on the same situation..my spouse is on closed wp which expires in September and I recd 18 months extension valid till March 2025 under this program ..I called IRCC to check if my spouse can apply for extension and they did not give any clear response and routed me to check on ircc portal...

    Yes you will receive an email and a message appears on your IRCC WP application under " messages about your application" there is a letter titled " in Canada approval letter " which says that a secure document has been mailed

    I checked my GCkey and it show in progress .Previously it showed "final decision made" and with document status which was my old application. But currently the same application shows in progress and document status disappeared. I donno if anyone else here observed this pattern
