thank you all for your kind words. wishing that everyone of you gets their ppr very soon. as our friend armintaba mentioned, I don't see any order in giving out ppr's, we have people in the Iranian forum getting theirs sooner with later file dates, only god knows what sort of system they are...

I got my visa last week (meds done in November) but the ecase status changed once my PPR letter was issued, it changed to decision made and said inside that the VO will be in contact regarding this decision. It's still the same thing after I got my visa.

I can only think they don't act on their own agenda (the 68 or this 71 month timeline) but they do whatever CIC directs them to do. We still have nearly half of 2006 applicants that haven't even received their update request.

@Ali: How long did it take for them to reply?

    2006 DAMASCUS APPLICANTS

Well this is just great.... I don't know what to think of this. We have quite a lot of 2005 applicants still waiting for the medicals so they are already in the ~80 months way past the previous 68. Where would that leave us? 7 years, or maybe 8 years of waiting?

How many times have you asked them about your file? I mean doesn't asking a lot gives your visa officer a negative impression?

It is a standard reply Warsaw sends to people in response to their inquiries. This is the exact text: Please note that CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall...

    2006 DAMASCUS APPLICANTS

Hi Armin, I think there is no evidence to support that matter as that email itself does not provide any such information. Have you seen any other response from Warsaw saying that for instance "background checks" are underway?

That means they haven't done anything yet except for the initial paper screening for missing documents, I got my first caips last year in May and it was just like this "FLIE BF'D TO: PPS ON 18-08-2009" If they do something the "FLIE BF'D TO: PPS ON 20-12-2006" will change to "FLIE BF'D TO"...

I found this in some forum: RFB/RFV RFV apparently means "Ready for Visa" and RFB apparently means "Ready for background check"
