I applied mid-Oct and got approval last week. Took like 65 days and it was around 55 days when I applied. So in my case it was a good estimate. The processing could vary depending on your case though. If you have an active US visa it gets processed sooner.- lr108

I applied Nov 27th and received on Dec 5th. In the past I've received it in a day or two. Many who applied in the last couple weeks have reported delays by more than a week. Perhaps give it a week or two. I suggest anyone planning to travel give a few weeks gap.- lr108

This is just visitor visa. Not the supervisa. I didn't know this was going on with supervisa that people just stay here. LOL. Well, Perhaps I'll give it another few months if not then perhaps I'll just apply supervisa. At that point they'll also have US visa so perhaps it'll be automated... -

OK I think by "stamping" you mean the rubber stamping you get at the entry...anyways I'd be surprised if Indians are denied entry into India. Honestly, I've never considered this a possibliity. Have Indians with ETA been denied entry? This is a news that people with ETA are denied entry.- lr108

I'm not sure I'm following this..."new ETA" and "new VISA stamped". Just take a copy of the new eVISA and they'll put the eVISA entry in your passport. I don't think it is complicated.- lr108

H1B stamping in Canada (For PR holder)
My gut feeling is you are going to be sent back. Immigration folks aren't nice anymore. Technically you can apply even with the latest memo. PR means you are a resident of that country.
