    Unfortunately we have to come to Canada first, otherwise yes this could all be avoided. Guess will just tell the kind folks when we land that we don't have our CoPR with us, just the visit visa and smile :)

    Hi there! She has not landed yet and is currently living outside Canada. So I am hoping she enters first on her visit visa so she can avoid doing a land or foot entry when she enters Canada the second time.

    Hello! My wife has a Canadian 10 year visit visa and visited Canada last summer. Earlier this year she received her COPR. Is it possible to enter Canada on her Visit Visa and not the COPR? Reason is she will not be able to stay in Canada for more than a few days before heading out to the US...
