No updates till now. No patience now But what can we do ? There's no other option rather than waiting. I don't think there is any use in filling webform as it will delay process furthermore

Yeah . More than 2 months completed today for background verification and no eligibility started

Many of my consultancy's clients received PPR today . We are still waiting with background verification is there anything to worry? All of us applied around same timeline and they received PPR today.

We haven't received the pre arrival too . Medical updated on March 24

True.. They are simply taking so much time for all the applications , taking forever to process one application. Millions of ppl are waiting with fingers crossed, atleast some updates or news in a month would give some relief. Here, we are with no updates and giving lot of waiting game to ppl. Sad !

Is it true that officers at airport issue open work permit then and there ?

Yup got it. We get a TRV which will be cnfrmed within 20 days and then after reaching Canada you apply for open work permit right ?

I heard that the TRV is only for spouses within Canada and one cannot apply for Trv from outside Canada even thought they have aor and SA status. Correct me if I am wrong
