So you know how you can do medicals and biometrics in advance to save time? It works the same way. You just make the payment for the OWP with the application and I think they send it earlier. I know a few people who’ve done this and it worked, they got their OWP sooner

Hello, I applied on the 1st of September also. I applied for my OWP with the initial PR application. It’s only been a week so haven’t had any updates. From what I’ve seen AOR takes about a month but if you feel like you need to be extra careful then you can apply for an extension of your visa.

what is an ITA? I’m applying for inland spouse sponsorship. I still haven’t received my police certificate but I submitted my application with the email from Acro Police, and I attached an explanation letter stating that I will receive my police certificate soon and will send it over in a webform.

I applied on 3rd of August. Sent around 5 emails for updates. Finally got a reply last week saying it’s in the final steps of processing but haven’t received anything saying it’s been dispatched.

Thats crazy. I think my application will expire by the time I receive it.

Can someone explain to me what exactly happens after submitting the inland spousal sponsorship? Like what do you expect to receive and an estimated timeline? And please can they be the full words and not abbreviations bevause I don’t know what AOR etc. stand for :(

That sucks. I have to go for a few weeks and it’s my sisters wedding so I can’t even miss that. Is there any point in asking for permission beforehand? What happens if my PR is approved while I’m abroad?
