Any clue as to how we can find out what the status of the applications are?

Employer applied for endorsement on Feb 20. It has been 6 months but Nova Scotia has not issued or started looking into my application. I work as an electrical engineer here. Is this normal? Please advice.

How long does it take in the recent days for biometric to get updated on the gckey portal? If the biometric does not update even after proper biometric submission, what are the next steps? How long should one wait before doing them?
