Hey y'all! My PR card has just arrived from CPC Sydney (not from Montreal). I can't believe it's all over now, lol. After years of filing various applications, following the Express Entry draws and many sleepless nights while waiting for a decision from IRCC, I'll finally get to fully enjoy life...

It was exactly two business days for me; I got my e-CoPR on April 5, and then the first GU with a final decision on my PR card application was on April 9. On April 10, I got another update saying my PR card was mailed to me.

Congrats on getting your e-CoPR! I received the second e-mail three hours after the first one. It will come soon, don't worry! :) But really, the only thing that is of any importance in that second e-mail is the subject line that says ‘’Congratulations, you are now a permanent resident of Canada!''

Woohoo, I got the following update in my GCKey today: ''We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive.'' This was extremely fast; only three business days since I received my e-CoPR. Way to go, IRCC!

Were you able to find your e-CoPR? It's in the portal—when you click View, it should be right at the bottom of the page, just below your photo.

I already got the first GU on my PR card application today. Hopefully this process goes way faster than the e-CoPR, lol.

It seems that today was a very productive day for the Montreal office, lol.

I agree with you on point #1—I had taken my medical exam in November 2022, and it was marked as passed/extended in January 2024, hence January 2025 as the expiration date of my CoPR. I guess we can only speculate on the rest.

If your CoPR expires in February 2025, I'm guessing you're in for a longer wait. There are quite a few people on this forum whose CoPR expires in January 2025 and have been waiting for two or more months, so if I were you, I wouldn't expect to get it before May.

Great idea, man! I've been trying to add my information, but it seems that I'm not authorized to make any changes. I received my P2 on February 26, and the expiration date of my CoPR is Jan 8, 2025.

Lol, just be patient, man. I've been waiting since Feb 26 and haven't sent them a single e-mail because I know there are probably thousands of others that are also waiting, so there's really no point in giving them even more work.

Since you got your e-CoPR within a week, I assume your CoPR expires in 2024, right?
