    Can i apply closed work-permit in the same company where as i am in canada and working on open workpermit.

    The reason is my wife have to travel to India to take care of her parents, Myself and kids want to continue our stay, At the same time she cannot ask for extension of her WP,since she will not be in Canada. So proactively 6 months before i am checking the possible options and initiate the process.

    Yes You are right SOWP not intra company transfer, By using SOWP, i have transferred from India to Canada. Now my spouse traveling back to India due to medical assistance to parents. So i am checking i can ask my organization to apply fresh workpermit, which will be closed with LMIA.
