Go for online application, even if IRCC recommends you to do a paper application. I applied on August 2023 and I am still waiting for my PGWP renewal.

Don’t worry, looks like my case is an exception. Generally people get it in 4-5 months

I’m stuck since 2023 August Exact same situation, paper applications have visibility and they are horribly slow. 245 days and counting.

Give it a couple of weeks , it will work.

where do I get the correspondence letter from?

Isn’t your employer asking for an updated work permit? How are you able to work? can you work with applied status? I applied for extension on aug 31st PGWP ext ( because my passport expired) , I have received no updates.

You can call IRCC they will help you link it to your online portal. May I know when you applied for your extension?
